Sheed's Squad

Last year, Rasheed Wallace announced the purchase of 50 lower level season tickets for the 1997-98 Portland Trail Blazer season. Each game, Wallace distributed the tickets to a local community organization. The idea was for underprivileged youth in the community to have a chance to come out and enjoy the action of an NBA basketball game, something they may not normally have been able to do. In most cases, the price of a quality ticket is too expensive for the kids to buy. With Sheed's Squad, tickets are in the lower bowl of the Rose Garden arena -- great seats for the kids to see their hero in action!
